Recipients of FIP Sponsorship Scheme 2018
The two recipients of the FIP Sponsorship Scheme for Regional Exhibitions in 2018, approved by the FIP Board, were announced personally by FIP President Tay on 18 August, 2018, during the Palmares Night of PRAGA 2018 Specialized World Stamp Exhibition. The sponsorships went to the following two upcoming exhibitions, which shall each receive US$5,000 from FIP:
i) ALPE-JADRAN FILA 2018 VARAŽDIN (October 18-21, 2018) organised by the Croatian Federation of Philatelists in Varaždin, Croatia

ii) EXFIL 2018, (October 9-13, 2018) organised by the Federation de Sociedades Filatelicas de Chile in Santiago, Chile

The representative of each federation was invited on stage to receive a symbolic cheque of US$5,000 from President Tay personally:
