On 22 February 2025, the Palmares night of URUGUAY 2025 FIP Specialised World Stamp Exhibition was held at the ballroom of Hotel Punta del Este.
The FIP flag handover from URUGUAY 2025 to PHILAKOREA 2025 was the first highlight of the evening.

The FIP Medal of Appreciation for Exceptional Jury Service was then presented by FIP President Chirakiti to Mr Charles Verge from Canada, for his outstanding contribution to FIP exhibitions.
A total of 37 Large Gold medals and 66 Gold Medals were awarded in this exhibition. The results of the exhibition can be downloaded here. The FIP congratulate all exhibitors and would like to express its appreciation for all the hard work of the International Jury Team.
There was only one candidate for the Grand Prix National prize and the winner was Mr Walter Britz (Uruguay) for his Postal History exhibit “The Postal History of Uruguay (1779-1880)”.
The Grand Prix International prize had three candidates:

After the counting of votes for the Grand Prix International facilitated by Jury Secretary Bernard Jimenez, the GPI prize went to Reim Pablo Alejandro’s exhibit “Republica Argentina – Classics Issues – Escuditos and Rivadavias”.
