PHILAKOREA 2025 Grand Prix Awards

PHILAKOREA 2025 FIP World Stamp Championship Exhibition had been successfully held by the Korean Philatelic Federation and Korea Post from 17 – 21 September 2025 at COEX Magok, Seoul.

Close to 2,000 frames were judged and there a total of 86 Gold and 32 Large gold medals were awarded by the international jury team.

The Palmares was held on Saturday 20 September evening attended by hundreds of guests and award winners.

There was only one candidate for the Grand Prix National prize which went to Mr Kim Young-Kil (Korea)’s exhibit The Postal History of Great Joseon & Daehan Empire (1884-1905).

The Grand Prix International prize had three candidates and the prize went to Sai Touru (Japan) for his exhibit Postal Cards of Japan 1873-1874.

 

Finally, there were three World Stamp Championship candidates voted by the international jury team.

The WSC winner went to Karnasuta Charnchai (Thailand) for his exhibit Development of Early Post Offices in Siam 1880-1909.
